Focusing on the needs of critical national and regional industries, the Institute specializes in the research, development, and application of industrial software. It is dedicated to advancing technologies in industrial software system development and big data applications. Key research domains include industrial middleware, intelligent support for upper-layer software business processes, business intelligence for industrial systems, and algorithm engines for large-scale artificial intelligence models.

Major Research Achievements:

In recent years, the team has undertaken two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and multiple large-scale big data research and development initiatives, delivering a series of distinctive results with industrial advantages. The institute has secured research funding totaling tens of millions of Chinese Yuan. Notably, the team has published papers for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, 2025) at KDD, the top-tier international conference on Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery. As the longest-running and most influential academic annual event in its field, KDD serves as a premier platform. These publications have significantly contributed to enhancing the reputation of the Computer Science discipline at Nanchang University.
