2023年3月20日下午，应南昌大学数学与计算机学院邀请，澳门大学Xiaoxi He教授作了题为《Towards On-Device Intelligence》的学术报告。

Xiaoxi He教授的报告由数学与计算机学院院长黄伟教授主持。Xiaoxi He教授首先简要描述了面向轻量化设备开发智能算法和应用的必要性与重要性，再结合自身近年来发表的一系列顶级期刊和顶级会议工作，对如何在轻量化设备上实现诸如深度学习等前沿人工智能技术、算法、应用等做了深入浅出的描述。整个报告内容精彩纷呈，参会老师与学生们收获很大。

本次数智论坛学术交流活动是由南昌大学科技处、南昌大学侨联、九三学社江西省科技委员会、九三学社江西省青年工作委员会、九三学社南昌大学基层委员会等具体指导，南昌大学数学与计算机学院组织与落实。

报告嘉宾简介：Prof Dr Xiaoxi He is currently an assistant professor at the University of Macau. He obtained his doctor degree in 2022 in the Computer Engineering Group of ETH Zürich, supervised by Prof Dr Lothar Thiele. He obtained his master’s degree from ETH Zürich and bachelor’s degree from Leibniz University Hannover. Before he moved to Germany, he was once admitted to the Special Class for the Gifted Young of USTC and studied there for 2 years. His research focuses on on-device intelligence, with the vision to bring artificial intelligence onto mobile and embedded devices. He has also been involved in research projects concerning real-world applications of modern deep learning systems, including wellness enhancement, sustainable environment, and smart city. His interdisciplinary methodology exploits deep learning, mobile computing, and domain science. He has extensive publications at top-tier conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, SigKDD, UbiComp, TMC and TCAD.
