Team Profile: Grounded in the theories and computational methods of probability, statistics, and optimization, the team works closely with practical needs in finance. It is committed to research and teaching in statistical decision analysis, reliability analysis, data science and intelligent decision-making, financial risk management, and related areas. In the past three years, the team has secured a series of influential achievements across various fields: it has led or completed five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Youth Project funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangxi Province, three industry-sponsored science and technology projects, and one Finance Science and Technology Special Contract System Project of Jiangxi Province. The team has published over 60 SCI-indexed papers. In teaching, three courses were selected as National First-class Undergraduate Courses and five as Jiangxi Provincial First-class Undergraduate Courses. It has also received approval for one Jiangxi Provincial Degree and Graduate Education Teaching Reform Research Project and one Jiangxi Provincial Higher Education Institutions Teaching Reform Research Project. In addition, one team member has been awarded the title of Jiangxi Gold Medal Professor (Distinguished Teacher); four team members have received the First Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, and two team members have received the Second Prize. Additionally, team members have mentored students to win over 200 awards in various competitions, and three supervised graduate students received the Jiangxi Provincial Excellent Master’s Thesis Award.
